I started this blog because I wanted to share beauty tips, tricks, and valuable accurate information. There are only a few qualified working makeup artists in the entertainment and fashion industry that have blogs. So I wanted to add my voice to a tiny piece of the internet. Everything will be honest advice from a professionally trained working makeup artist.
Over the past two decades, I have been a makeup artist and hairstylist. My work has been internationally published and some of my clients have included Pop Sugar, Refinery 29, Forever21, Vogue, Seventeen, Harper’s Bazaar, ESPN and, L’Oreal to name a few. I also worked as the lead makeup artist, groomer, and hairstylist for Gilt Groupe’s e-commerce and editorial division until 2015, man I miss those 12 pm sales and discounts!
I’ve had the opportunity to work with some amazing people like Yvonne Orji, Gloria Steinem, Rosario Dawson, Regina King, Debra Lee, Kerry Washington, Danai Gurira, Jeannie Mai, Betsey Johnson, Adonis Bosso, Rhuigi Villaseñor and Afrojack. And for many seasons, I was on the teams of Pat McGrath and Val Garland for fashion week in New York and Europe where I had the chance to work with a gazillion different supermodels.
I currently reside between Los Angeles, Arkansas and New York. I love to volunteer, travel the world, and one day soon I will be launching a makeup tool that will change the game! So now that you are here, stay tuned!
